Igor Šváby has been practicing law since 2005. He has advised clients on real property, mergers and acquisition, various forms of business cooperation, intellectual property rights, labour law and on bankruptcy and restructuring matters.
Igor has vast expertise in matters relating to shopping centre administration (lease agreements, agreements with service providers and other suppliers relevant to shopping centre administration, obligations under the administrative law, disputes arising from or related to the operation of shopping centres, etc). His experience with real property also includes development projects and planning and zoning proceedings.
Igor has also significant experience in structuring transactions aimed at both starting and ending the cooperation between businesses (including standard mergers and acquisitions).
In the field of intellectual property rights Igor focuses on copyrights, specifically on software copyrights and on special rights related to databases. His experience in this area includes licence agreements preparation, participation in projects for automated contract creation solutions, and software supply related litigations.
In labour law, Igor mainly focuses on the issues related to the secondment of employees and on labour litigation matters.
Igor has also acquired expertise in restructuring and bankruptcy matters, representing both debtors and creditors.
Igor is fluent in English and French.
